Price Indicator!

Exact prices for your project are impossible to calculate and can only be determined exactly after project acceptance where the price is explained and agreed upon.

The price is extremely dependent on a number of factors including filament choice, printing- and working time, temperatures and preparations.

FILAMENT:
The choice of filament is extremely important here. This determines which method of printing can be done, such as very fast, normal or very slow printing, which affects the printing time, but also the energy costs (slow also means longer active, so more electricity is used) or working with low, hot, or very hot printing temperatures (the hotter the more energy it costs) It also determines what preparations need to be made! For example, Carbon Fiber must always be dried for at least 8 hours before it can be printed, which takes time and energy and is reflected in the energy costs. With these types of filaments, the final price naturally decreases considerably as the quantities increase! The drying time in "working hours" is usually not charged, because I can also do something else during that time that is calculated on that basis.

SUPPORT:
Another particularly important price factor is "floating or overhanging" parts of your item!
A 3D printer cannot print in the air, so it needs "something" to put the filament on, this can simply be basic filament with a breaking layer of support filament (PLA/PA/PET), but with some designs there must be room to move inside an object, and then you cannot break away the support, but you can use support that can be dissolved in water (PVA). Your project determines what is needed for this and I can offer you support and advice.

Support is also needed if an object has a small interface with the print bed, or if the object is narrow but becomes very high, causing the printing forces the object to come loose from the print bed and/or fall over during printing. For this purpose we offer brim, raft and tree solutions, but that costs extra filament and also a bit of support filament.

QUALITY:
Finally, there is a prize to which you have the largest contribution. Objects can be printed coarsely, which is reasonably fast, which reduces the energy price considerably, but then the surfaces are not nice and smooth, which is useful for parts that are not visible, for example. You can also choose to apply a super smooth finish or even an ironing, where the layers are applied extremely thinly, giving you a beautiful finish, but... that also takes much longer printingtime and therefore also higher energy prices!

WORK:
The price of working hours is quite flexible and varies from 5 to 20 euros per hour, with the design time being the most expensive and also fluctuating depending on the complexity! Printing time is rarely charged because I can do something else during that time that pays for it. In addition, for some projects it is quite possible to print overnight without my presence (for example printing in ABS).

Explanation of characters:

(+)  NOT all types -or- all colours mentioned  are available at this supplier, do a request before!
(++)  Due to the high purchase price of these filaments, they are only purchased after approval and award of your project and a down payment will be required for larger quantities.

* The energy costs of PLA and PLA+ vary because PLA comes in various types with various additives. Silk must be printed very hot, Carbon Fiber very hot and slowly.
PLA+ is the same as PLA, but its composition makes it possible to achieve higher speeds than standard PLA. This means the printing time is shorter and therefore the energy price is lower, but the purchase price is higher.

** The price per kilo varies greatly per supplier, but the quality also varies greatly! I show you a comparison of 2 big names and my own Filafox supplier, where I would like to note that there are hardly any quantity discounts at Bambu, but at Sunlu there are and Filafox is generally cheaper per kilo with same good results as Sunlu

*** My printers can print all types of filament! Also in all colours available! Please note that special colours sometimes also have special prices, and depending on availability, can be sometimes very difficult to find or at extremely high prices!

NOTE! I am willing to print with filament that you have purchased yourself, but calibration time will be charged and/or the remainder of the purchased filament will become my property. For example, if you have a small project where you purchase 1 kilo of filament yourself and use 400gr, the remaining 600gr is for me. In addition, I cannot guarantee the print quality with an unknown brand of filament. The filament must also be supplied on plastic spools. For cardboard spools, the winding costs for good spools will be charged to you. Remember that price and quality are strongly linked in the world of filaments! Cheap often turns out to be more expensive in the end

License Disclaimer!

Designs are connected with owners and therefore licenced!

The rules and regulations in- and around object licenses are very unclear in many cases. If you want clarity, please send me the link of the object you want. I can then review that license and contact the owner/creator if necessary.
